In this role you will be responsible for:
Reporting to the General Engineering Supervisor.
Account for planning, coordinating, leading, and controlling resources to ensure safe and optimum production through quality maintenance and application of engineering practices.
Conduct daily maintenance tasks (scheduled and unscheduled), inspections and reporting on daily section performance.
Assisting Artisans with installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment according to standards.
Production targets, compliance with company's HSEC system is essential.
Compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) requirements.
Ensuring implementation of Management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards/policies.
About you:
Grade 12
N2 (Full four subjects one being theory)
Relevant Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/Fitter/Electrical)
Five (5) years technical experience post trade
Medically fit to work underground and surface
Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
Computer literacy (MS Office Suite, SAP)
Valid driver's license
