In this role you will be responsible for:
To work in close relationship with the appointed contractor
Assist in ordering material and deliveries thereof
Supervise daily activities and the quality of the work being carried out, assuring building standards are met
Administration and updating of project schedule and bar chart
Adhere to all HSEC requirements
Report daily to the projects engineer
To ensure working procedures are updated, and adhered to according to set standards
Maintain housekeeping in active project area/s and maintain high safety standards according to company and legal requirements.
About you:
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
Project Management Diploma or qualified artisan (mechanical/Electrical) with civil work experience.
Knowledge of or experience in building regulations requirements.
Good Knowledge of the HSEC systems
At least 5-7 years' experience in the Civils (Projects) environment
Good understanding of the OHSA, with reference to the Construction regulations.
