Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Driver to provide dedicated transportation services to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO).
The ideal candidate must be reliable, discreet, safety-conscious, and reside on Lagos Island to ensure proximity, punctuality, and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, timely, and efficient transportation for the MD/CEO to and from appointments, meetings, and events.
Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any issues.
Plan routes effectively using strong knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic patterns to avoid delays.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Keep accurate records of travel, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Be available for extended hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as required.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 5 years' proven experience as a professional driver, preferably for senior executives.
Strong knowledge of Lagos routes, especially Lagos Island and surrounding areas.
Must reside on Lagos Island or its immediate environs.
Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Defensive driving certification is an added advantage.
Experience driving luxury vehicles.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
