About the Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Corporate Driver to support its executive and senior management team in Port Harcourt.
This role goes beyond simply getting from point A to point B — the successful candidate will serve as a trusted personal representative of the organisation, demonstrating impeccable professionalism, discretion, and courtesy at all times.
If you are a disciplined, punctual, and experienced driver with a genuine understanding of what corporate transportation demands in a dynamic oil and gas environment, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Scheduling:

Provide safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for executives, senior management, and company guests to offices, client sites, meetings, airports, and other official destinations within Port Harcourt and surrounding areas.
Plan and coordinate daily travel schedules in advance, accounting for traffic conditions, alternative routes, and schedule changes to ensure punctuality at all times.
Assist with airport pickups and drop-offs, including monitoring flight schedules and adjusting departure times accordingly.
Maintain a detailed trip log recording all journeys, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents in line with company policy.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance:

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections — checking engine oil, coolant, tyre pressure, brake fluid, lights, and general roadworthiness before every journey.
Keep assigned company vehicle(s) clean, well-maintained, fuelled, and roadworthy at all times — inside and out.
Report mechanical faults, warning signs, or maintenance requirements promptly to the fleet/facilities team and ensure timely servicing.
Ensure all vehicle documents are current — road worthiness certificate, insurance, registration, and inspection stickers.

Safety, Security & Conduct:

Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, company driving policies, and client HSSE regulations at all times — zero tolerance for traffic violations, phone use while driving, or reckless behaviour.
Maintain a high level of personal grooming, cleanliness, and professional appearance befitting a corporate environment.
Exercise complete discretion and confidentiality regarding passengers, conversations, destinations, and any company information encountered in the course of duties.
Remain calm, courteous, and composed under all circumstances — including heavy traffic, long hours, or challenging passenger requests.
Report any suspicious activity, security concerns, or incidents affecting the vehicle or passengers immediately to the appropriate authority.

General Support:

Be available for early morning, late evening, and occasional weekend assignments as required by the executive schedule.
Carry out any other official errands or driving duties as directed by management.
Maintain a polite, helpful, and discreet demeanour with all passengers, visitors, and members of the public encountered while on duty.

Requirements & Qualifications
Educational Qualification and Experience:

Canddates should possess an HND or B.Sc. in any discipline from a recognised institution. WAEC/NECO result required.
At least 5 years of continuous corporate or executive driving experience — oil & gas sector experience is an advantage.
Age: Not more than 40 years of age at the time of application. Age verification documentation will be required.
Licence: Valid, current Nigerian Driver's Licence with a clean driving record. Any endorsements or suspensions must be declared.
Must be resident in Port Harcourt or willing to relocate immediately. Familiarity with Port Harcourt roads and environs is essential.
Character: Must provide a police clearance certificate or character reference. Impeccable conduct and verifiable references are mandatory.

Personal Attributes We Value:

Punctuality — reliably on time, every time, without exception
Discretion — absolute confidentiality regarding executives, clients, and company affairs
Professionalism — well-groomed, courteous, and respectful at all times
Alertness — sharp situational awareness on the road and in client-facing environments
Patience — calm and composed in heavy traffic, long waits, and demanding schedules
Integrity — honest, trustworthy, and dependable with company property and assets
Sobriety — zero tolerance for alcohol or substance use before or during duty hours
