Role Summary


The Corporate Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for company executives, staff, and official deliveries.
The role ensures proper maintenance of assigned vehicles, adherence to traffic regulations, and professionalism in all movements representing the company.
The ideal candidate must be disciplined, punctual, well-groomed, and experienced in corporate driving within Lagos traffic conditions.


Key Responsibilities
Transportation Duties:


Provide safe and timely transportation for executives, staff, and official assignments.
Drive company vehicles for meetings, deliveries, errands, and corporate events as assigned.
Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off of staff and goods.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all movements and company-related travel.


Vehicle Maintenance:


Conduct daily inspection of assigned vehicle before use.
Ensure proper fueling, oil, water, tire pressure, and general vehicle condition.
Keep the vehicle clean (interior and exterior) at all times.
Report any mechanical faults or issues immediately to management.
Schedule and follow up on routine maintenance and servicing.


Compliance and Safety:


Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Ensure proper use of seat belts and safety measures for passengers.
Avoid reckless driving, over-speeding, or unauthorized use of vehicles.
Maintain a valid driver's license at all times.


Logistics Support:


Assist in the delivery and collection of official documents, supplies, and items.
Support dispatch of goods to clients or company locations when required.
Ensure accurate handling and safe delivery of all items entrusted.


Professional Conduct:


Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with staff, clients, and external parties.
Uphold company values and represent Puff & Glaze Ltd positively at all times.
Maintain discipline and respect within and outside the workplace.


Required Qualifications


Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Valid Nigerian Driver's License.
Minimum of 5 - 7 years proven driving experience (corporate or commercial).
Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic patterns.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.


Working Conditions:


May involve early morning, late evening, and weekend assignments.
Frequent movement within Lagos and occasional interstate travel.
Must be available for emergency or short-notice assignments.
