Proven is looking for a highly aggressive, target-driven and proactive Sales & Business Development Executive to support the growth of their market in Kenya and the Region.
The role involves generating leads, closing sales, managing client relationships, conducting outreach, and growing corporate accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. He/She will do so by identifying key business opportunities and prospects. The goal will be to meet and exceed the set Monthly and Annual Targets and increase our revenue.
Responsibilities
Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain long-term relationships with prospects
Identify new business opportunities to generate revenues
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate sales targets
Negotiate contract proposals and sales agreements with clients and business partners
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
Qualify opportunities and manage prospects through the full sales cycle.
Research, identify and target prospective clients aligned with company strategy.
Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn/social media outreach and other prospecting activities.
Generate meetings through proactive outreach and networking.
Participate in bids and tenders.
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in a Business related field or equivalent experience
2+ years of Corporate sales experience
Proven history of closing sales
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Proactive and self-motivated
Strong attention to detail, with high standards of accuracy and quality.
Confident, adaptable, and globally minded.
Strong team working skills
Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
Strong IT skills (MS Office, Salesforce).
Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to think creatively and strategically.
