The Corporate Trainer is a strategic role responsible for enhancing organizational capabilities and driving performance improvements through comprehensive learning initiatives.
The core focus involves conducting training needs assessments, designing structured programs across key areas—including leadership development, management, customer experience, and HR best practices—and delivering high-impact virtual and in-person training sessions.
This role is critical for providing executive coaching, supporting succession planning, and developing effective evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness, return on investment (ROI), and to ensure alignment with, and achievement of, allocated revenue and business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy and Program Development
Develop annual training plans aligned with organizational strategy.
Design structured training modules in:
Corporate leadership
Supervisory and middle management development
Customer experience strategy
HR best practices
Develop competency frameworks and leadership development pathways.
Create standardized training materials, manuals, and toolkits.
Training Delivery and Facilitation
Facilitate interactive workshops, seminars, and executive training sessions.
Deliver virtual and in-person learning programs.
Apply adult-learning methodologies and experiential learning techniques.
Conduct leadership boot camps and management retreats.
Training Needs Assessment and Organizational Alignment
Conduct organization-wide training needs assessments TNA.
Identify leadership, service, and HR capability gaps.
Collaborate with department heads to align training to business goals.
Develop customized learning interventions based on identified gaps.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
Develop training evaluation tools and feedback mechanisms.
Measure training effectiveness and return on investment ROI.
Track post-training performance improvements.
Prepare periodic training impact and progress reports.
Recommend continuous improvement strategies.
Coaching and Mentorship
Provide one-on-one executive coaching sessions.
Facilitate group mentorship programs.
Support succession planning initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
Professional certification in Training & Development or Organizational Development preferred.
Minimum 5+ years' experience in corporate training or leadership development.
Experience in customer experience strategy and HR development programs.
