RESPONSIBILITIES
Track project costs in real time as they are incurred and monitor actual, committed, and forecast costs against approved budgets. Identify cost overruns, budget variances, and margin erosion at an early stage, providing cost-to-complete estimates and potential loss warnings.
Provide project managers with timely financial data to support corrective actions and strengthen team accountability.
Monitor individual project profitability while providing management with a consolidated view of the entire project portfolio.
Capture and analyze material, labor, installation, procurement, and overhead costs to maintain standard and actual costing.
Lead month-end cost reconciliations, journals, COGS tracking, and cost reporting. Prepare monthly cost, profitability, and management reports.
Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and control expenses.
Maintain accurate costing data in ERP/accounting systems and support internal and external audits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relate discipline.
CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification (or progress towards) is required.
Minimum of 2 years' relevant cost accounting or project cost management experience.
Hands-on experience in project/product costing, inventory reconciliation, cost allocation, variance analysis, and margin monitoring.
Cross-functional experience working with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Project teams. Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advance Excel (Zoho experience is an added advantage).
Strong variance analysis, root-cause investigation, and numerical skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and problem-solving abilities.
