The Counselling Psychologist shall assist in supervising and mentoring psychology interns and volunteers, providing ethical guidance, case consultations, and structured feedback. This may include facilitating workshops, trainings, or targeted learning sessions to strengthen intern/staff capacity, professional practice, and adherence to ethical standards.
Coordination and Representation
As needed, The Counselling Psychologist shall participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, internal coordination meetings, and relevant program and grant proposal development discussions. Where required, the role may include participation in partner and stakeholder engagements, including donor meetings or coordination forums, within the defined scope of engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in psychology; Master's degree in counselling or clinical psychology is an added advantage. Diploma with experience over 5 years
Registration with the CPB or any other recognized professional body.
Minimum of three (3) years' experience providing counselling or psychological services, preferably within GBV, trauma, shelter, or humanitarian settings.
Prior experience in tele health ( video, voice, text) will be an added advantage
Experience in supervision, advisory roles, or systems evaluation is an added advantage.
