A well-established distributor is looking for a Counter Sales professional to join their team in Queenstown.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the steel, hardware or construction industry who enjoys working with customers and wants the opportunity to grow their product knowledge and sales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers with product enquiries and sales.
Provide accurate product information and recommendations.
Process quotations, orders and sales.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Assist with stock and general counter sales duties.
Develop product knowledge across steel, hardware, construction and related products.
Opportunity to progress into external/client sales as product knowledge and experience develop.
Requirements
Experience in the steel, hardware or construction industry is highly advantageous.
Previous counter sales or internal sales experience preferred.
Strong product knowledge and willingness to learn.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Confident, energetic and sales-driven.
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
