About us
For over 60 years, AIFO ETS has been working on Inclusion and Care through projects in Mozambique, Tunisia, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia and Mongolia. In our local offices, we run community-based social and health projects. In Italy, we work in the social sector with local stakeholders and mobilise people and resources to ensure inclusion and access to healthcare for the most vulnerable. Since 1999, we have been officially collaborating with the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the implementation of the Rehabilitation 2030 plan, and we are recognised as a training organisation by the Ministry of Education. We are among the founders of ILEP (International League of Anti-Leprosy Associations), IDDC (International Disability & Development Consortium), and RIDS (Italian Network for Disability and Development).

AIFO has been present in Mozambique since 1974. We work with local authorities – in particular with the Ministry of Health – and with civil society organisations to carry out projects dedicated to the care and inclusion of the most vulnerable sections of the population. Our team comprises over 45 professionals spread across six provinces of the country. We operate through a central office in Maputo and three regional offices, from which we coordinate and implement projects funded by AICS, UN agencies, Italian local authorities and other public and private donors.

We are seeking a professional in the field of international cooperation to join our operations in Mozambique and who wishes to take on a key leadership role within our organisation.
