Job Summary:
The Courier Hub Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Jet Park courier hub, ensuring efficient parcel processing, timely dispatch, and high-quality service delivery. This role involves managing hub staff, optimizing logistical processes, maintaining compliance with company policies, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the courier hub, including parcel sorting, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
Supervise and lead a team of hub staff, including drivers, sorters, and administrative personnel.
Monitor hub performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement improvements where necessary.
Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with logistics teams, couriers, and external partners to optimize transportation and distribution routes.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring excellent service levels.
Oversee inventory control and hub supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Prepare operational reports and provide insights to senior management.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and improve overall hub efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience of 4+ years in logistics, courier services, or a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in logistics software and tracking systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of local and regional transportation networks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with e-commerce logistics or express delivery services.
Understanding of fleet management and route optimization.
