We are looking for a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team in the medium to heavy industry sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in overhead crane and lifting equipment maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems, and proficiency in PLC & VSD control systems. This role requires a focus on safety, quality, and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements:
Qualified Millwright with trade test certification
7 years' experience in processing line maintenance, including overhead cranes and lifting equipment
3+ years' experience with PLC & VSD control systems and field instrumentation
Technical qualifications in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering advantageous
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Knowledge of SANS and lifting legislation
