Role Overview
We are looking for a "Creative Powerhouse"—a multi-talented individual who can capture the vibrant life of our school and translate it into compelling digital content.
This role combines Social Media Management, Graphic Design, and Video Editing to build our brand, engage parents, and showcase our students' achievements in STEM, Arts, and Sports.
You will be the visual storyteller of DTA, ensuring our online presence is as professional and innovative as our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Strategy:
Content Calendar: Plan and execute a weekly posting schedule across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
Community Engagement: Respond to comments/DMs, engage with educational influencers, and manage parent-teacher digital communication groups.
Live Coverage: Provide "real-time" coverage of school events (Inter-house sports, Spelling Bees, Graduation) via Stories and Reels.
Graphic Design & Branding:
Marketing Materials: Design flyers, brochures, and banners for school events like "Career Day" or "Culture Day."
Digital Assets: Create high-quality thumbnails, carousels, and infographics that explain school projects (e.g., "How our Robotics program works").
Identity Maintenance: Ensure all designs align with DTA's brand colors, fonts, and professional tone.
Video Editing & Production:
Event Recaps: Film and edit high-energy highlight reels of school ceremonies and competitions.
Educational Content: Create short-form videos (TikToks/Reels) showcasing student projects in Coding, Music, and French.
Post-Production: Handle color grading, audio cleaning, and adding subtitles/motion graphics to make videos "pop."
Required Skills & Qualifications
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous graphic design and video editing work (Mandatory).
Eye for Detail: An "aesthetic" sense for layout, typography, and video pacing.
Speed: Ability to turn around "recap videos" quickly after an event.
Communication: Ability to interview students and teachers to get the best "soundbites" for videos.
Core Competencies at DTA:
Storytelling: You don't just "post"; you tell the story of a student's journey from a blank page to a finished Coding project.
Adaptability: Comfortable moving between a quiet office and a loud, busy sports field to get the perfect shot.
Trend-Aware: Stays updated on the latest social media trends and "viral" educational content formats.
