Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Be a Citizen of Kenya;
a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Management, Environmental Science, Ranch Management, and other related fields from a recognized institution; and
Experience in wildlife conservation with a reputable institution will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overseeing Physical maintenance of the park;
Supervise staff under him/her;
Ensure conservation/preservation/management of animals on exhibition;
Ensuring the welfare of the captive animals and associated facilities/infrastructure including visitor management;
Researching, compiling and preparing written information about catalogues;
Presenting/displaying reptile and related artistic collections; and
Collaborating with other similar institutions.
