The Cytologist is Responsible for screening and reporting gynaecological and non-gynaecological cytology samples, performing Fine Needle Aspirate (FNA) biopsies, ensuring quality slide preparation, and supporting ISO 15189 compliance to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Professional Registration
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Cytology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Registered with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Valid KMLTTB practicing license.
