Role summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and analyze complex datasets, developing statistical models, generating actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of five (5) years' proven experience in data analytics, statistical modelling, survey research and reporting.
Demonstrated experience in survey sampling design, weighting methodologies and quantitative research analysis.
Proficiency in statistical and analytical software such as SPSS, STATA, R, Python and advanced MS Excel.
Experience with data visualisation and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and PowerPoint (PPT).
Strong understanding of research methodologies, questionnaire design and data quality assurance processes.
Experience handling large and complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
