The Opportunity

Sitting within the global Data & Analytics function, you will build and maintain core governance assets including the Data Dictionary, Master Data definitions, Chart of Accounts, Reporting Catalogue, metadata standards, reporting standards and quality controls. You will play a key role in driving adoption of data products, documentation standards and structured change practices across a network spanning more than 80 countries.

The role strengthens organisational accountability by ensuring data is governed, discoverable and accessible, enabling evidence‑based decision‑making, transparent reporting and consistent analytics at scale.

You will work closely with Data Engineering, Reporting & Analytics, IT, Enterprise Architecture, business functions and external partners. While the role has no direct reports, it requires strong collaboration, ownership and influence.

Key responsibilities include


Implementing and operating enterprise data governance, metadata and data quality frameworks
Building and maintaining governance assets such as the Data Dictionary, Master Data definitions and Reporting Catalogue
Embedding governance policies, standards and naming conventions across the data and reporting landscape
Supporting the design and rollout of reporting frameworks, standards and roadmaps
Producing clear, high‑quality documentation to support adoption, continuity and self‑service
Driving adoption through training, communication and structured change activity
Supporting controlled change and release management for data and reporting assets
Contributing to the Data Governance Centre of Excellence through standards, guidance and continuous improvement


Skills and experience

You will bring:


A relevant degree or experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management or analytics enablement
Hands‑on experience with modern data platforms and reporting tools, including Snowflake, DBT and Power BI
Strong documentation skills, with the ability to clearly describe data flows, processes and technical concepts
Experience developing and delivering training for non‑technical audiences
The ability to translate business needs into structured governance and documentation artefacts
Excellent organisational and written communication skills
The confidence to work independently, take initiative and drive implementation
Cultural sensitivity and experience working with international, multicultural teams
A solid understanding of governance principles including accountability, structure and alignment to business needs
