Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Trainer to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
This is an urgent requirement for a professional who is passionate about data science and enjoys imparting knowledge to learners.


Key Responsibilities


Deliver engaging and practical training sessions in Data Science and related fields.
Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
Provide mentorship and support to learners throughout their learning journey.
Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in Data Science.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training objectives are met.


Requirements


Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
Proven experience delivering training in Data Science.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning concepts.
Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Experience using industry-standard tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.


Preferred Skills:


Hands-on industry experience in Data Science or Analytics.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for learners with varying levels of experience.
Experience in curriculum development and learner assessment.
