Job Purpose:
The job holder will be responsible for transforming enterprise data into actionable insights by developing analytical models, supporting data-driven decision-making, and contributing to the implementation of the organization's data strategy, governance framework, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights for business units.
Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision-making.
Build and maintain machine learning models and analytical pipelines.
Support implementation of the enterprise data framework including data quality and governance standards.
Work with data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, data lakes) to process and analyse data.
Develop dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
Translate analytical outputs into clear business insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Identify opportunities for AI/ML to improve business performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
1- 2 years' experience in data analytics or data science.
Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and Power BI or similar tools.
Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure).
Understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
