Database Administrator and Initiative Lead - 6 Month Contract
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Microsoft SQL Server certifications preferred (e.g., MCSA, MCSE).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessment and design for high availability and redundancy within the SQL Server environment.
Automate critical database maintenance operations including indexing, patching, and backups.
Identify applications causing strain on the database and recommend architectural redesigns.
Audit and remediate direct external access to production databases.
Work with development, architecture, and security teams to ensure compliance and performance.
