About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a Database Developer Intern who is fluent in Arabic to join our IT team. The intern will support the development and enhancement of database-driven applications, working closely with developers and business teams to design, implement, and optimize database structures and queries.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing and developing new database objects (tables, views, functions, stored procedures).
Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and application integration.
Support data migration, data transformation, and cleansing tasks.
Help integrate databases with internal systems and external applications.
Participate in building dashboards and reports for business teams.
Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical database solutions.
Prepare technical documentation for developed database features.
Provide translation or communication support in Arabic where necessary
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
Understanding of relational database concepts (tables, keys, joins, normalization).
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills in English and Arabic (required).
Eagerness to learn and apply new database technologies.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.).
Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Knowledge of a programming/scripting language (Python, Java, or C#).
Understanding of APIs and data integration concepts.
