Job Description
Mr Price Group Logistics is seeking a driven and hands-on DC Supervisor to lead operational excellence within our Distribution Centre. This role is responsible for supervising DC associates, driving productivity, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
Supervise and lead DC associates to ensure timekeeping, attendance, and discipline standards are consistently met.
Drive production efficiency and throughput, ensuring daily and shift targets are achieved timeously.
Oversee staging and location accuracy, ensuring system and physical stock alignment.
Conduct daily stock management activities and promote strong housekeeping and good work habits.
Ensure full compliance with departmental SOPs, driving adherence and updating procedures where required.
Plan and manage labour in line with forecasted volumes and budget, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and confirm that all MHE operators hold valid licences.
Champion Lean principles, driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high 6S standards within the department.
Motivate, coach, and develop team members to build a high-performance culture.
Ensure adequate Health & Safety representation within the department, including H&S Representatives, First Aiders, and Fire Marshals.
Qualifications
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
2 - 3 years' supervisory experience within a Distribution Centre or warehouse operations environment.
Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Solid understanding of DC operations and retail supply chain principles.
Exposure to and understanding of Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Strong people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
