Dental Specialist / Lecturer Grade 1-3 (One Year Contract)- Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at Gauteng Department of Health

Requirements :


BChD/ BDS or SAQA recognised equivalent qualification. Registered with the HPCSA as a dentist in the category Independent Practice.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a dentist post community service.
The following will be added advantage: Evidence of postgraduate development in oral surgery, Diploma / Master / Primaries.


Duties :


Clinical service rendering in the MFOS department. Participate in the teaching and learning activities of undergraduate students in the department of MFOS as well as those prescribed by the University of Pretoria.
Active involvement in academic programmes of the department. Conduct research and publish in accredited journals. To participate in all programmes and processes that promote self-development as recommended by Gauteng Health and University of Pretoria Academic self-development is compulsory
