Package : R932 292.00 per annum (all-inclusive package) consists of 70% or 75% basic salary and 30% flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules. A driver's licence. Duties : To monitor and promote effective management of financial assets and financial liabilities in the municipal sphere of government. Manage and implement the monitoring of cash management practices by municipalities and municipal entities in compliance with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) and relevant regulations. Manage and implement the monitoring of investments practices by municipalities and municipal entities in compliance with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), and the Municipal Investments Regulations. Manage and implement the monitoring of short and long-term borrowings in municipalities and municipal entities in line with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), and the Municipal Debt Disclosure Regulations. Manage the support provided to municipalities pertaining to cash management, investments management, and borrowings. Management of the resources.
