MINIMUM - COMPETENCIES
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Strong analytical capabilities and sound report writing skills. Better understanding of the transversal systems of BAS and LOGIS. Knowledge and experience of relevant financial systems. Knowledge of government policies, practices, and related Acts and regulations such as PFMA, DORA, and Treasury Regulations. Excellent technical writing and presentation skills. Innovative problem-solving ability. The ability to work independently. Applied knowledge of all relevant PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum three (03) years' Bachelor's degree/Advanced Diploma/BTech NQF Level 7 in Finance/Financial Management/Accounting. A minimum of three (03) years' experience in financial management at a junior management level. A valid driver's license.
DUTIES
Analyse own revenue trends and compile a monthly consolidated report for the Departments. Support Departments and Entities in the maximisation of revenue and monitoring performance of provincial own revenue collection and compile quarterly feedback letters for feedback on revenue performance. Analyze own revenue projections for departments. Review revenue tariffs for Departments and recommend for approval. Conduct quarterly training for revenue and cashiers in revenue management. Conduct quarterly revenue forums for own revenue management. Manage human and financial resources
