Role Summary
A leading bank is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for building, securing, automating, and maintaining the bank's infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and deployment processes. The role ensures high system availability, security, and regulatory compliance for mission-critical banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for banking applications
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
Enforce security best practices, vulnerability management, and access control
Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles
Support compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, internal IT controls)
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms
Proficiency in Linux system administration
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and system security
Experience in financial or enterprise systems is a strong advantage
