Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse to provide specialised nursing care to patients undergoing haemodialysis. The successful candidate will ensure safe treatment delivery, continuous patient monitoring, comfort, and prompt management of dialysis-related complications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care before, during, and after haemodialysis.
Operate and monitor dialysis equipment and respond to treatment-related complications.
Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, vascular access, and patient response to treatment.
Educate patients on dialysis, medication, nutrition, vascular access care, and lifestyle management.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years experience in a haemodialysis unit, preferably in a tertiary or specialist hospital.
Relevant dialysis/renal nursing qualification or certification.
Registered Nurse (RN) with valid professional registration/licence.
Proven competence in managing AV fistulas, grafts, and dialysis catheters.
Strong patient-care, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
