Diesel Mechanic at Phakisa Group

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Lanseria


Duties and Responsibilities:


Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
Experience working on Scania trucks.
Experience working on MAN trucks.
Experience working on trailers and trailer-related mechanical systems.
Strong knowledge of truck air-brake and air systems.
Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
Must have own tools and heavy-duty mechanical tools.
Reliable transport to and from work.
Willingness to work weekends, standby, and respond to emergencies.
Good fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Reliable, hardworking, able to work independently.
Focus on safety, quality work, and preventative maintenance.


Working Details:


Salary Package/Stipend Offered: R15000
Working Hours: Mon - Friday (07:30 - 17:30). Occasional after-hours and Saturday work.
Standby required every second weekend.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Permanent

Driver's Licence Requirement: Code 8 (if applicable)
