Digital and Administration Support Intern - 12 Months Fixed Term at Bayer East Africa

The main purpose of this role entails providing digital and administrative support by processing procurement workflows, managing authentication activities, and engaging digital communities on Bayer Seminis platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Website).
The intern will be instrumental in supporting the long-term growth of vegetable seeds products in Kenya, contributing to the SH squad, and being a key member of the Africa Commercial Unit.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Procurement Workflow Processing
Purchase Order entry/processing.
Goods Received Voucher Processing.
Vendor Payments follow-up.
Monthly Expense/Payments Reports.
New vendor process onboarding.
Authentication Administration:
On-demand authentication codes activation.
Communication/Reconciliation with vendors on discrepancies.
Monthly Redemption Reports.
Digital Community Management:
Respond to comments and queries on Bayer Seminis digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Website).

Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Diploma Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital productivity tools.
Basic understanding of procurement software and vendor payment tracking systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Website) to support digital community management.
Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn, a proactive mindset, and the capacity to multitask efficiently
