‎FMR Agency is recruiting experienced and results-driven Direct Sales Agents to support customer acquisition and revenue growth within the digital payments sector.
‎The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying, engaging, onboarding, and activating new business clients across high-density commercial areas in Lagos. This role is primarily field-based and requires proactive prospecting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to consistently achieve sales targets.
Candidates must have prior experience working with OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint, with a solid understanding of merchant acquisition and digital payment solutions.
‎Ultimately, you will drive merchant acquisition, increase product adoption, and contribute directly to the company's revenue growth.


‎Key Responsibilities


‎Identify and engage potential business clients (SMEs, retail stores, hospitality outlets, corporate clients, etc.) within assigned territories.
‎Promote and sell digital payment solutions, including collections and payout services.
‎Conduct product demonstrations and clearly communicate product features and benefits to prospective merchants.
‎Support merchants through onboarding, KYC documentation, and account activation processes.
‎Achieve assigned monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets.
‎Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities using CRM tools or provided reporting platforms.
‎Provide post-onboarding support to ensure customer retention and continued product usage.
‎Gather and report market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor activities to the sales leadership team.


‎Requirements


Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in any discipline.
‎2 - 3 years of direct sales experience within the FinTech industry.
‎Previous experience working with OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint is mandatory.
‎Proven experience in merchant acquisition, field sales, and customer onboarding.
‎Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
‎Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven.
‎Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
‎Good knowledge of the Lagos business landscape.
‎Basic digital literacy, including proficiency in smartphone applications, WhatsApp, and CRM tools.
