Responsible for promoting financial products, acquiring and managing customers, assisting with applications, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations to drive revenue, expand market reach, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify potential customers through cold calls, networking, referrals, and local market knowledge.
Actively seek new business opportunities to expand the bank's customer base and increase revenue.
Product Promotion and Sales:
Present and explain the features, benefits, and terms of banking products such as loans, savings accounts, and credit facilities.
Tailor sales approaches to meet individual customer needs and persuade prospects to take action.
Customer Assistance and Relationship Management:
Provide personalized support, guiding customers through product selection, eligibility criteria, and application processes.
Maintain ongoing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Application and Documentation Support:
Assist clients in completing applications, collecting required documents, and verifying information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Streamline internal processing and reduce documentation errors.
Sales Tracking and Reporting:
Manage sales pipelines, track leads, and report progress to supervisors.
Prepare sales reports to inform decision-making and monitor performance against targets.
Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere to banking laws, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and internal policies.
Ensure all activities are conducted ethically and in line with the bank's code of conduct.
Collaboration:
Work with sales teams, marketing, and product specialists to coordinate efforts, share insights, and leverage resources to achieve sales objectives.
Customer Interface:
Act as the primary point of contact to foster trust and enhance customer experience by providing expert advice and personalized service throughout the sales process.
