Job Summary
A Sales Agent is responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting suitable solutions, and maintaining strong ongoing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and contact potential customers through cold calls, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
Qualify leads based on needs, budget, and readiness to buy.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Sales & Business Development
Present and demonstrate products/services to prospective clients.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling or crossÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂselling opportunities.
Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and agreements.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly sales reports.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing.
Provide feedback to management for product or process improvement.

Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build quick rapport and handle objections.
Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
CRM software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics).

Basic understanding of the industry and product offerings.
Preferred Qualifications
