A leading luxury hotel collection in East Africa is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Director of Sales to lead its growth across the region and beyond. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this senior leadership role will shape and execute the sales and business development strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth across all markets and segments.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement multichannel sales strategies across leisure, corporate, and MICE segments.
Represent the brand at major global travel events and in key source markets.
Build and manage strong relationships with key clients, travel partners, and luxury travel networks.
Oversee contracting, pricing, and revenue optimization across the portfolio.
Lead, mentor, and inspire local and international sales teams.
Drive adoption of digital sales tools and CRM systems.
Identify market trends and strategic growth opportunities across East Africa and internationally.
Requirements:
10+ years' experience in sales or business development within luxury hospitality or travel.
Proven success in African markets and international sales environments.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience with CRM platforms and datadriven decisionmaking.
Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages an advantage.
Significant international travel will be required.
The successful candidate will work remotely.
