Draughtsman/Internal Sales - East Rand (4922)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman / Internal Sales Representative to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience as a Draughtsman and Internal Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, and OMAX.
• Read and interpret complex engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimations based on technical drawings.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical assistance.
• Assist the internal sales team with order processing and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs.
• Optimize nesting programs for efficient material utilization.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and records.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Draughtsman and in Internal Sales.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, and OMAX software.
• Strong ability to read, quote, and break down technical drawings.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication and manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
