Job Description
The Drilling Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for providing logistics and materials management services within the Projects, Drilling & Exploration Procurement group.
The role involves overseeing day-to-day logistics activities, material control, inventory management, contractor supervision, and coordinating material movements to offshore and onshore rig locations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and review Drilling Programs to determine equipment, tools, and material requirements for each rig/well.
Ensure daily site requirements are adequately met.
Manage the safe and appropriate storage of company-owned drilling equipment and tools.
Coordinate timely replenishment through procurement, fabrication, and repairs.
Supervise drilling logistics contractor staff and material control activities.
Coordinate material movements to offshore and onshore rig locations.
Support inventory management and logistics operations.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, preferably in international frontier operations.
Experience in Operations, preferably Drilling Support activities and related materials, equipment, and services.
Associate Degree plus formal training in mechanical trades.
Experience supporting the start-up of new operations in remote/frontier locations.
Experience with material-handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, oilfield accounting, and contract administration.
Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Highly flexible and adaptable to different working and living conditions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Proficiency in computer applications with strong administrative and organizational skills.
