Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities entail:
Ensuring the safe transportation of Board personnel and/or goods from source to destination as per instructions;
Detecting and report malfunctioning of vehicles system;
Keeping a record of the vehicle's movement through the "Work Ticket";
Monitoring and reporting the vehicle service and insurance schedule;
Ensuring the cleanliness of the vehicle;
Reporting incidents and accidents as soon as they occur as per the policy; and
Ensuring adherence to or observations of traffic laws.
Person specification
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:
At least KCSE (D+) or equivalent qualifications;
Have passed the Occupational Test III for drivers;
Minimum four (4) years' active driving experience (Class B, C, E);
Valid driving license;
Craft certificate;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Adequate knowledge of the Highway code; and
Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
