Job Description
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
KCSE Certificate or equivalent, with a minimum grade of D (Plain).
A valid Kenyan driving licence, free from endorsements, with Class BCE or equivalent.
At least 5 years of continuous professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or institutional environment.
Proven experience driving executive/VIP vehicles, pickups, vans, and buses.
A valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Certificate.
A clean driving record, with no history of major traffic offences.
Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and report minor mechanical faults.
A valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Defensive Driving Certification and First Aid training will be an added advantage.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Excellent driving and road safety skills
Strong knowledge of Kenyan roads and traffic regulations
Vehicle care and basic mechanical knowledge
Professionalism and discretion, particularly when handling VIP passengers
Reliability, punctuality, and good time management
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging road conditions
