Role Summary
The Driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles in accordance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable traffic laws while supporting the efficient delivery of operational and administrative activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, roadworthy, adequately fueled, and serviced according to the company's maintenance schedule.
Ensure all required vehicle tools and equipment are available during vehicle handover and takeover.
Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, vehicle defects, movement logs, and other required vehicle documentation.
Complete and submit vehicle handover and takeover forms within the required timelines.
Report all vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, and unusual occurrences promptly to the Control Room and the Line Manager.
Maintain regular communication with the Control Room and provide timely updates on the security situation while crews are responding to alarm activations.
Observe all traffic laws, company policies, and safe driving practices at all times.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of D+.
A valid Kenyan Driving Licence.
A valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
A Defensive Driving Certificate.
Good communication and report writing skills.
A Diploma in any field, particularly Business Management or a related discipline, will be an added advantage.
Previous experience in the security industry will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
Minimum five (5) years of practical driving experience.
Minimum three (3) years of defensive driving experience.
