About the Role
As an E-Commerce Planner, you'll shape online sales strategy by aligning business goals with marketing activity. You'll use data and creative execution to manage campaigns across digital channels, improve inventory availability, and deliver a consistent customer experience from the first advertisement through to checkout.
Responsibilities
Develop demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and product lifecycle analysis to support product availability.
Manage inventory flow, minimise excess stock, and reduce stock-outs.
Use integrated e-commerce tools and platforms, including Shopify, to manage product listings and ensure accurate front-end inventory levels.
Use advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, and BI tools such as Power BI to analyse variances, predict trends, and produce reports.
Align demand plans and campaign activity across purchasing, marketing, logistics, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Relevant experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain within an e-commerce or retail environment.
Practical knowledge of business, marketing, supply chain, or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP IBP, or Anaplan.
Experience using e-commerce platforms, specifically Magneto.
Familiarity with retail metrics such as Open-to-Buy, turnover, and sales per square foot.
Experience managing and executing marketing campaigns and coordinating cross-functional projects.
