About the Role:
As an E-commerce Sales Intern, you will be at the heart of our revenue engine. Your primary mission is to support the E-commerce Sales Lead in scaling our digital sales channel from monthly. You will focus on high-velocity sales operations, end-to-end order fulfillment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience that drives repeat business and platform growth.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of e-commerce orders, ensuring that every purchase is processed, packed, and dispatched within our established SLAs.
Engage with potential customers via our official WhatsApp Business account and other platform channels to move leads through the funnel and close sales.
Act as the primary liaison between the sales team and logistics partners to track deliveries, resolve transit issues, and ensure "last-mile" excellence.
Monitor stock levels across platforms in real-time to prevent stockouts and ensure that product listings accurately reflect available inventory.
Provide timely and professional resolution to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, maintaining a high satisfaction rate.
Assist the Sales Lead in updating product descriptions, prices, and promotional banners to improve on-platform conversion rates.
Maintain accurate records of daily sales and logistics performance, contributing to weekly growth reports.
Help build and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) that will allow the e-commerce department to scale efficiently.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, A certification in Social Media Marketing or a related field.
Proficiency in using WhatsApp Business, basic Excel/Google Sheets, and a general comfort with e-commerce dashboards.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle customerswith empathy and professionalism.
A proactive "get-it-done" attitude, especially when dealing with the complexities of logistics and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Basic ability to look at sales numbers and identify trends or bottlenecks.
You are someone who notices the "small things," from a typo in a product price to a delayed delivery status.
