DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the educational needs of students in Playgroup to PP2, in line with CBE.
Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to students and parents to support their learning and development.
Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages students to participate and express themselves.
Identify the individual needs of students and provide tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to develop a cohesive educational program and participate in school events.
KEY REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
A certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE)
Previous teaching experience in Playgroup to PP2 is essential.
Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with young children.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrable computer proficiency
Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
Ability to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young learners.
