Key Responsibilities
Teach Economics to secondary school students in line with the approved curriculum (WAEC/NECO)
Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.
Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports as required
Support students' academic and personal development
Ensure classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
Identify and teach skills that will develop students' ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
Lead subject or identified area within the School Improvement Plan and ensure progress is at least good.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Economics or a related field (B.Ed, B.Sc, or B.A)
Teaching qualification (TRCN certification is an added advantage)
Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
Good communication and classroom management skills
Ability to use basic educational technology is an added advantage.
