Job Summary
The Electrical and Electronics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems and equipment within the organization.
The role ensures the efficient operation of electrical systems, supports production activities, and improves manufacturing processes through effective electrical engineering solutions. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement electrical and electronic systems for operational efficiency.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and machinery.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and components.
Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic equipment and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Develop and review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Support automation and control systems used in manufacturing processes.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades where necessary.
Assist in the procurement and installation of electrical equipment and components.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports.
Train and guide technicians on proper electrical maintenance procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, control systems, and industrial equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
