PURPOSE ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
To manage the distribution of power systems, all electrical and automated instrumentation process and functionality of all machines to achieve production efficiency
THE JOBÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
To repair all electrical/automation faults in Machines with minimum down time as well as carryout RCA where necessary
To resolve all PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), VFD, and SCADA issues
Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, servicing and replacement of electrical/automation parts to maintain optimum performance
Manages all the automated systems and industrial communication protocol such as Profibus and ethernet in the factory to ensure optimum performance
Assign and supervise jobs by the electrical supervisors and electricians
To install and maintain electrical/automation machines with high technical standard
Keep track of engineering Key Performance Indicators (Availability, Downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, Specific power consumption, etc.)
Good knowledge of utility equipment compressors, electric pumps, valves and fire hydrant systems
Ensure compliance with HSE rules and regulation and complete all CAPA related project
Ensure adherence to QMS and FSMS standards
THE PERSON MUST HAVE
Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Be hands-on with a strong electrical and technical aptitude.
Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Ability to interpret electrical pneumatic diagrams
Knowledge of frequency control inverters
QUALIFICATIONSÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
BSC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
Certification in Programming Logic Controllers.
EXPERIENCEÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ
Minimum requirement: Five (5) years cognate experience
Added Advantage: Automated Mills experience and COREN Membership
