Job Summary
Responsible for services needed by the plants in terms of the troubleshooting, electrical & automation requirements and spare parts needed to ensure continuous operation and better performance.
Responsibilities
Carry out routine condition monitoring for all the automation equipment in the plant.
Carry out regular update of all user program backup for all automation equipment in the plant.
Ensure availability and regular update of electrical documentation for all equipment in the plant.
Conduct routine audit of all electrical controls of all equipment in the plant.
Regularly generate lists of critical automation spare parts that should be available to prevent stoppages of the production lines/utility.
Ensure compliance to the maintenance program for all instrumentation and electronics.
Schedule and carry out automation maintenance on all equipment
Improve equipment productivity through modifying certain functions.
Facilitate/conduct calibration of all electronic instruments in the plant.
Carry out regular inspection and maintenance of all special electronic equipment in the company such as electronic bottle inspectors, fill height detectors, mixers, ozone generators, coding machines, etc.
Effectively communicate to management any critical actions needed to restore the condition of the equipment to 100% reliability.
Execution of annual maintenance and cleaning program of all electronics and automation equipment.
Carry out basic cycle maintenance, cleaning and inspection and instill these principles to be part of the SBC culture.
Requirements
A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
3 - 5 years relevant hands-in FMCG operation and Electrical/Automation experience Knowledge of bottling operations
Experience in people management
Coaching direct reports and mentoring others
Ability to build and leverage relationships to improve results
Open-minded and willing to experiment and try new things
Ability to disseminate and enforce safety, health & environment policy.
Ability to influence situations without direct control of resources.
Good understanding of HQSE modalities and codes.
Good understanding of GMP and GHK (5S) standards
