Description


We are seeking qualified and motivated Electrical Engineers to join its growing team in Abuja.
The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Development:


Design electrical systems, components, and products for commercial, industrial, and domestic applications.
Develop engineering solutions that meet project specifications and operational requirements.
Prepare electrical layouts, designs, and technical documentation.


Testing and Evaluation:


Develop testing procedures for electrical systems and equipment.
Evaluate system performance for safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Identify defects and recommend corrective actions where necessary.


Drafting and Engineering Documentation:


Produce technical drawings, schematics, and electrical layouts using CAD and engineering software.
Prepare reports, calculations, specifications, and design documents.
Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation.


Project Management:


Assist in estimating project costs and resource requirements.
Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Support budget control and efficient project execution.


Collaboration and Coordination:


Work closely with mechanical, civil, and other engineering teams.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical input.


Compliance and Safety:


Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with applicable industry standards and safety regulations.
Adhere to relevant electrical codes, including NEC and IEC standards where applicable.
Promote safe work practices and maintain compliance with company safety policies.


Essential Qualifications
Education:


Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related STEM discipline.
Professional Certification
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is an advantage.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred for advanced roles and added responsibility.


Technical Skills:
Candidates should possess knowledge or experience in:


Autocad
Solid works
Revit
Electrical system design and analysis
Technical drawing and schematic preparation
Electrical testing and troubleshooting
Engineering calculations and reporting


Soft Skills:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:


Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.


Working Conditions:


Office and site-based assignments.
Occasional travel to project locations may be required.
