Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, review, installation, testing, commissioning, and technical support of electrical systems for the Ethane-to-Polymers (E2P) Project.
The role ensures that all electrical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review electrical engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and calculations.
Design and support High, Medium, and Low Voltage (HV/MV/LV) power distribution systems.
Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, cable layouts, and equipment datasheets.
Perform or review power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and cable sizing.
Support the specification, procurement, and technical evaluation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, UPS systems, and generators.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Construction teams to ensure effective project execution.
Provide engineering support during construction, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / HND in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
6 - 10 years of electrical engineering experience in petrochemical, refinery, LNG, gas processing, or chemical industries.
