Key Responsibilites
Design and review power distribution, LV/MV/HV systems, and switchgear layouts.
Prepare electrical datasheets, specifications, and load lists.
Coordinate cable routing, earthing, lighting, and power supply systems.
Oversee procurement, FAT, and installation of electrical equipment.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and local electrical standards.
Support commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Interface with mechanical and instrumentation teams for electrical integration.
Qualification
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
Experience:
8 - 10 years in chemical/process plants.
FEED & EPC execution of electrical systems.
Selection Criteria:
Should have proven experience in electrical design and execution in chemical plants.
Should possess required ability to manage contractors and vendor coordination.
Should possess required experience and knowledge of Chlor-Alkali specific electrical requirements.
Functional Skills:
Knowledge of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems.
Transformer, switchgear, motor, and protection system knowledge.
AutoCAD / Electrical design software proficiency.
Knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX / IECEx) for chlorine areas.
Electrical load calculation and power factor correction.
