Role Summary


We are seeking proactive and technically soundElectrical Engineers / Technicians to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will supervise a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring the continuous performance of critical electrical infrastructure in compliance with GMP and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities





Carry out routine maintenance and corrective actions on electrical panels, control systems, production equipment and industrial automation equipment.
Assist in audits and inspections by maintaining proper documentation and supporting compliance readiness.
Provide technical support during external audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure including backup power systems, switchgear, lighting, motors, and distribution boards.
Coordinate the installation and commissioning of electrical components for new equipment or system upgrades.
Maintain electrical documentation, equipment manuals, and system diagrams in compliance with regulatory standards.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical faults in coordination with production and QA/QC teams.
Ensure all electrical equipment complies with GMP, WHO, and NAFDAC standards.
Monitor electrical energy usage and propose strategies for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.


Qualifications & Experience


B.Eng./ HND/OND/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Relevant experience in electrical maintenance preferably within a pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
NABTEB.
Trade Test 1,2 &3.


Key Competencies:


Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safety protocols.
Basic understanding of regulatory compliance including GMP, WHO, and NAFDAC standards.
Familiarity with PLC systems, SCADA interfaces, and power distribution layouts is an advantage.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic, regulated technical environment.
